ShiftCompass was born from lived experience. Our founders spent years working across healthcare, aged care, and hospitality, juggling multiple jobs, handwriting shift notes at 3am, and never knowing exactly how much we'd actually take home each fortnight.
We discovered we were being underpaid thousands of dollars over years because we couldn't track the complexity of penalty rates across multiple employers. We missed our kids' events because we couldn't see our whole schedule at a glance. We burned out because no one was watching our total hours.
